Obstacles like this MHT are the reason I always try to steer people in the direction of doing their own prospecting and claim work where possible.
Because I am connected to the New 49'ers mining association here in Calif. and very visible to prospectors online, I always have people asking me about buying or leasing claims. If a person is physically and mentally able to do it themselves they cut out a lot of expense, red tape and middlemen.
The New 49'ers have over sixty miles of claims on the Klamath River, the vast majority of them were found and claimed by the association.

I agree.
There are seven other prospects that were identified above. Geophysical prospecting applies to areas that are not possible to prospect because prospectors can't see under the tundra or alluvial gravel.

Its been raining for 9 days straight. I guess that I have too much time on my hands to play on the computer. Without access to the raw data (yet), all that I can do is go thru the interpretations and make inferences. I did a count; there are 242 anomalies with a COND value greater than 100. Of that number, 64 have a COND value that is 999.0. Every one of those 64 has a 7200Hz CPQ value of zero (except for 3 with minor decimal values).
How would you interpret this? If frequency is tied to depth to conductive values, I think this would indicate that these are largely deep ore bodies with nonconductive or massive sulfide overburden.
Only 34 Level 7 anomalies? What about all the other anomalies that have high conductance? It is well known that faulting concentrates magnetite, graphite, conductive clays, and salt water, so maybe this can account for some of the excess.

Those flight line vector maps with indicated anomalies are very difficult to read, especially when anomalies are close. Topographical lines and poor quality images make it worse. But one good thing that I noted in these maps was strategically placed vertical dots indicating approximate depth to the top of the ore body and horizontal dots indicating CXI and CXQ in ppm. A very good idea, keeps me from needing to refer back to quantative results in the charts.

Has anyone looked at the vector maps and noted the groups of Level 5, 6, and 7 anomalies that are grouped together? Plus, there are sections where there is marked absence of anomalies.
It seems prudent to search where the signals are strongest and grouped closely, provided that the conductor is not too deep. Look for a regional pattern and not a single conductor and increase your probability of success.

What I am seeing is that the CPI/CPX ratio which indicates conductor extent is low enough to reclassify some of these COND 999 anomalies as Level 6.
