Middle Fork is in the Salcha Survey and in some circles it goes by East Fork. Oddly enough, topo maps are a little nebulous because sometimes they call the same river by different names. I have been investigating Middle Fork over the past few years. There's more GOLD along Middle Fork than just about anyplace else in Alaska.
There's discussion about Middle Fork on the Prospecting Salcha thread. The Salcha River is quite aways away from what we might recognize as Middle Fork.
Along with all the excitement about GOLD, there are a few potential problems that deserve discussion.
