There's a real joy holding something like this as you can tell by the look on my face! This is the "whopper" We were in Allegheny looking at gold samples that were for sale at the 16-1 mine. The sales person said "I have something you might want to see". They came back around the corner and handed it to me. What a feeling!

That weighed 13.3 pounds. I see it was sold. They didn't say how much. I was at Bohemia Mining Days in Oregon a bunch of years ago. The whopper was there sitting on a metal folding chair. There was a guard standing nearby. I didn't ask to hold it then as I already had a picture with it. It you look close you can see the drill hole where they bored through it.
