Slatco,
Let us know if you have any luck at the auction and what you end up with.
Love watching those Ritchie Bros auctions !

Good luck! The 6" Wacker pump I have came from a RB auction.
Got a John Deere 330CLC that came from auction too.

Too often I have seen pump motors turning more rpms than optimum only to have flow restricted going into the wash plant. A more economical approach is to spend the time getting optimal flow using lower rpm and less fuel. Then running valves full open at the plant.

A simple, but often overlooked, solution to excessive fuel use.

Well no pumps this auction. Everything I was interested in seemed to sell just a but higher than I wanted. (Isn't that always the case lol) The search continues.....

That's a bummer. Keep looking, you'll find something.

Auction time again! This time, there are a couple of the 6" Wackers w the air cooled Kohler (Lombardini) each with around 1000-1500 hrs. Dick, how does your Wacker compare to your other pumps?

Wacker makes a lot of industrial construction stuff. The 6" pump I have is very heavy built. I would not hesitate buying a Wacker pump and parts are readily available. As for engine options, the Lombardini diesel has been good.
I had to replace an injector pump on mine and while parts were available they are expensive.
Other than that I have had no problems.
Those are low hrs pumps, should be excellent if you can get one at reasonable price.

I should mention the Wacker pump I bought had 7,000 hrs on it.
Here's my Wacker.... I suspect the ones up for auction are the same.
