I originally started using the larger "dishy" as they call it. It works great in the Ruby Area with little competition for air time. In busier areas like Anchorage, users may have lower speeds because more users end up cutting down on bandwidth. As with any router based access, users divide the time

Its a amazing piece of tech I am thankful to have. I use it prospecting to see where I am at against the current claim boundaries. Next step will be the direct integration into your cell phone where you pay extra on your phone bill to have starlink sat connectivity.

Mini;

I picked up a mini last July to take up to my diggin's in Alaska. The mini is more portable and provides mobile communication as well as simple connection with only one power cable as mentioned earlier.

Starlink was charging $100 for 50 GB of data with an option to add data at $1.00 for each GB. 50 GB is really not enough in my case. I use 100 GB per month. I was thinking Elon was selling systems cheep and picking up profit on the data side! I got an email the other day... Starlink is bumping up the data to 100 GB for $50.
