The U.S. has the largest GOLD Reserve on the planet at 8,133 Metric Tonnes. The Reserve has not been audited since 1953.

I became suspicious in recent years that the price of GOLD seemed to "hover" around USD 2000. If it went up, it soon went down, remaining in the USD 2000 range.
Doing the math, it becomes obvious that the U.S. GOLD reserve makes the national debt look trivial.
