On May 14th, the Salcha River - Pogo survey data was released!

This district is a prolific GOLD producer that includes the Pogo Mine, one of the largest GOLD producing mines in the State of Alaska.
It may be interesting to use this survey as a case study for prospecting. It has very few mining claims in the north half. That represents an area that is open for location should a discovery be made!
The area around the Pogo mine (south half) is saturated with mining claims.
