Buried Gold in Alaska!

Post by Geowizard » Wed Feb 25, 2026 3:53 pm

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It has been said that there is more gold that has not been discovered than all of the Gold that has been discovered.

Here we are with Gold prices going sky high and Alaska has buried Gold that has been revealed using data from DIGHEM. See a related thread on this subject. When Gold is detected with a metal detector the next step is to dig it.

I am curious why there is any reservation! I advertise discoveries on Craigslist to no avail. I would like to open discussion on the subject. I am using data from a third party, the State of Alaska. I do the interpretation of the data. The data produces "hits" like a standard discriminating detector. The hits correlate to existing placer mining operations. I discovered the lode that created the placer Gold deposit at Moore Creek. I didn't stop there! :)

Would someone please give me a clue as to why there isn't more interest in getting on the Gold when there is real supporting evidence of a Gold deposit? The lode deposits that create placer deposits is shallow gold. The Gold is "Free" Gold in the sense the Gold is free from the quartz or other host rock. I have found placer deposits that generate a response in the DIGHEM system too!

Looking for ideas.. :?:

Been thinking about this since you posted and the best answer I could come up with is trust. With so many scams going on these days and a lot of victims, people are hesitant to look into offers of what could be construed as a internet ad for a X on treasure map.... Its unfortunate but that is the reality especially when there is a cost to prospecting and there are not many left who can do it well. If I was a US citizen I would be interested but there are too many obstacles with working in other countries and I also have too many of my own projects that need time and attention.
