I hear you guys are getting hammered with snow in Southcentral. 100" for Anchorage already!!
Here in Eastern Interior we have above normal snow with 30" on the ground. Coldest so far this winter has been -57F so can't complain too much :) . Interesting in that overflow on the creeks has been way below normal.

Well, it got down to -25 in town just before I set sail from Trapper Creek, a little over 2 weeks ago. Then, at midnight in Watson Lake at -40 (F. or C.) there was a thrilling night in the truck since all the fuel pumps in town were too cold to accept 'Le Plastique'.
Finally, here in Northern Idaho, it got up to somewhere about zero to welcome me to "Frozen-Water-Pipes-Ville, Idaho.
Of course, now, it's +36 here and the pipes are well thawed, the frozen sections replaced and the snow cover is melting ever so quickly.

Joe...
Glad things are getting back to normal for you in ID. Didn't sound like much fun to come home to all that stuff!
Now you can get back to thinking about all those projects left undone here in Alaska :)

Been a milder winter than usual for me near Edmonton although we did have a few days of -42C. Bigger issue is not much snow here or in north central BC where a mine which means forest fire season will be brutal again....
