I love these recent prices! Sold my last bit of gold for $2,777/oz CAN.... Economics for scaling up the placer mine are starting to look favorable! (Not quite enough to quit the day job steady income lol)

Slatco,

Good on ya!

The U.S. has the largest GOLD Reserve on the planet at 8,133 Metric Tonnes. The Reserve has not been audited since 1953.

Gold Reserves can be found at: https://www.gold.org/goldhub/data/gold- ... by-country

I became suspicious in recent years that the price of GOLD seemed to "hover" around USD 2000. If it went up, it soon went down, remaining in the USD 2000 range.

Doing the math, it becomes obvious that the U.S. GOLD reserve makes the national debt look trivial.

The remaining question is - What is in the Treasury?

The dollar amounts represent the total number of troy ounces multiplied by a value established by law ($42.222), set in 1973. :o
