Good for you on the A25 truck. Looks like a nice truck too. You will be happy with it I'm sure.

I'm loving my A35 ! Here is a few photos from hauling pay today.

Jeez Dick!

It would take forever to fill that bed using my equipment (a True Temper #2 Hand Held Steam Shovel).

That equipment is looking mighty fine, though - for a Big Time Operator like yourself! :~)

Best of fortune to both of you.

Thanks for the support Joe! Great truck Chickenminer, mine is a Volvo BM machine as well. (I bought the repair manual online so if you want a dropbox link let me know- it is over 7000 pages) Getting it brought over to my yard before it goes to the bush as there are a few things like AC and stereo that are not working as they should lol. Back up at my mine the 16th of July so it will be going in then. The shaker deck that I built over winter has some retrofit/upgrades required (although I am very happy with it- more to come including videos this winter) that I need to do but it will replace my trommel so it (the trommel) will get hauled out on the back haul and ran across the auction block in September.

Boy oh boy, just a little update on this... Transmission ended up being toast on my truck. Replaced it with a reman last weekend and it is now just about ready to go (Chickenminer you were not joking when you said these things were maintenance hogs...) Can't wait to get it out to the minesite in June!

Slatco ....
Oh man that is to bad on the transmission. Always a crap shoot when buying something from those auctions.
But since tranny issues are the main go wrong with these trucks you should be good to go for a long time now.
Did you get a reman from Centranz ?

I've got mechanic work to do on mine here this Spring. Need to replace a rear axle seal and replace a bunch of
disc brake pads.

It is nice to come to a place where a "tranny" is still just a "tranny". Am I showing my age here? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Ya, I went with Centranz and they were awesome to deal with. I told my 11 yr old son to pay attention and watch what I was doing on the replacement as he will likely be the next poor bastard who gets to change it in 20 years lol. I know all about the rear seal issues as well as I have done 2 of them on mine. They actually are not too bad.

First trip out is May 12 for a few days to see how everything wintered and pull the track groups off the 220 excavator and bring back to town to swap the pads onto new rails as they are wore out.....

Nothing wrong with the terminology; it does go to show the age of "some people".
