A conversation among Gentlemen;
There are many topics and many views on every topic. When information is presented, it should have been vetted by the author for accuracy. I never "call out" another member. I call out "information that is misleading", inaccurate or otherwise commonly referred to as BS. A conversation among Gentlemen should provide balance in the conversation without imparting blame for all of the things that are wrong in the world on others.
Lively discussion should stimulate thinking and improve our knowledge base. My effort is to enlighten, entertain and by all means support factual content and understanding of the many forces that affect GOLD prospecting. Understanding market forces and their affect on the price of GOLD is important. I appreciate input and conversation on the topic by anyone that wishes to make a positive contribution.

Fear;
Fear is a natural human instinct.
What type of fear triggers gold to rise?
Fear of inflation or that paper assets will return to their intrinsic value (i.e. zero)
Fear that governments like Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Portugal and yes even the United States will not be able to pay their debts.
Fear that the EU will disband
Fear of stock market collapse or instability.
Fear that the housing market will collapse.
Fear of War or Terrorism
Fear of Banking Collapse or Corporate Bankruptcy
Fear of almost anything
Yes, there is plenty of fear in the market these days to fuel the price of gold.
