Learning the methods. Learning the tools. Learning how the tools work! Testing the tools. Testing the measurements! Testing the DATA. Finding correlation between DATA and GOLD. Finding existing GOLD mines that have DATA. Seeing "cause and effect" between GOLD and DATA.. Not once, but a hundred times. A thousand times. Every time. All the time!

DATA is GOLD. Data is HOW we FIND GOLD! That's how I know!

When is knowing, "knowing"?

We may think we know, but when do we know we "know" something? There are tests for testing a hypothesis to verify and validate and eventually adding it to your "knowledge base". Ask, What do I know,? and Why do I know it? One might ask, "How" do you know it?

Building our knowledge-base is not just important, it is "critical"! Building our knowledge is based on a solid foundation with no cracks or missing bricks! It takes time and patience to exercise critical thinking. Critical thinking is asking questions about what we learn and using a process of verifying and validating facts. It's a learned skill.

The information highway has become a confusing source of information. Too many sources, too many uninformed sources, too much fake news, too much propaganda, too much bias. The sources of information are always under scrutiny as it probably should be. When we make a statement, we should be prepared to defend the statement. When I make a statement, I am prepared to defend it. When someone challenges a statement it should not be taken as an insult. Questions are important for both sides of a discussion on facts. What is the reference? Has the reference been verified?.

A case in point;

I recently was shown a reference to satellites in space that map the surface of earth and probe deep into the earth for GOLD and other valuable metals using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance imaging.
