So, How D'Ja Do?

Post by Joe S (AK) » Fri Oct 21, 2022 12:15 am

All of us are wishing we could just go back to when we could __________ (fill in the blank) to our heart's content, however the practicality of the whole situation has temporarily shifted. We're older now, the greenies (Boo, Hisss) have done their best to keep us out of "their" streams, The politicians / wanna-be Doctors Wu Flu fearmongering has banished us to our basements and the dredging laws have gone to _______ . (Yeah, I know, ... Sucks for sure.)

With all that going on there ARE some of us who, through substantial effort, good fortune and even just blind luck have been able to over achieve and actually spend time shoveling away into our sluices, highbankers and even just into pans.

For those who have been able to get out a little how about a brief report? Nothing too detailed since there are a Bazillion new IRS agents with nothing much to do but surf the web. I know about a specific case years ago where ...................... :o

So has anyone been able to 'get out'? Do OK?

Hear of something interesting like Canada changing their border crossing Wu Flu policies effective 01 October just past?

Hear about any new equipment that came out? Yeah - last year Gold Hog came out with a new mini stream sluice (I got mine!) and this year they're about to introduce a new compact Zig-Zag highbanker called "The Boar Box"). Any other new equipment??

With winter around the corner it's getting time to throw some wood in the wood stove and start typing.
Waiting to hear from you guys soon. :P Joe

I have some stories from this season for sure but am waiting until Dec/Jan when cabin fever is really bad before I share.
