If you end up getting one of those pumps let me know.
I have parts and service manuals for the Lombardini engine and the PT6 pump.
All on PDF, so would be easy to send to you.

Haha well don't think I will get one of the pumps as I ended up winning the bid on a Komatsu wheel loader instead. Funny the way things go. All the pump convo has been filed for the future when I really hit the motherload lol.

Congrats on the "new" loader addition. That's more exciting than a pump anyway :D

What model loader? I've never owned any Komatsu equipment.

180 Komatsu. I know it is small but it is sized right for my op.(My log bridges won't collapse under it's weight, it is small enough to fix without bankrupting me, fuel consumption is acceptable and it can do everything I need it to) I was moving tailings with a skid steer that had a .5yd bucket and this little loader has a 2.25 so way less trips and now I save on rentals.

My recent investigation into Wacker pumps has led me into the PTS4V offering. While not a diesel like the 6 inch ones I was looking at, the PTSV4 appears to put out a significantly larger volume of water than the 4 inch honda I am currently using. There is one currently selling on Kijiji (just like Craigslist) for $2k so maybe I will get to have my cake and eat it to lol.

Nice loader. You should get lots of years out of that machine. I used an old Cat 955H w/2yd bucket for years.
Sounds like a great upgrade to your operation!
I've seen quite a few 4" pumps with diesel drive on Craigslist. If you're in no hurry I'd hold off in hopes of a diesel
powered one coming up.
I have a couple 4", one is a Gorman Rupp w/Lister diesel and the other is a nice compact Yanmar with a single cylinder diesel.

Update- I ended up getting a 2013 Magnum with a 4 cyl deere and a 4 inch pioneer. Pump performed awesome this season with no issues! Sure was nice switching from a gas pump to a diesel.

Well ... glad you found your way back to the forum !

Sweet on the "new" pump. I like JD engines. Parts are easy to get and pretty fuel efficient.
