Re: New prospect

Dan, Ya it wasn't too bad of a job. Years ago I had to pull the swing drive on a Hitachi UH083 machine. I had a devil of a time trying to get those bolts broke loose !! Re: New prospect

Doug ... as you know can't really do too much this early. Lots of water running in the creek now though. I have been stripping off what is thawed so far and I did get to dig into the side of the old timers cut where they quit. Interesting deposit on this bench! Appears to not be an alluvial bench de...

I have around 6,000 yds through this test plant of mine w/o a grizzly but I can see it is taking a toll on the drum. Although the drum is only 1/4" ma...

Re: Test trommel

Sweet! Looks like a good start. What gauge is the barrel made of?
You planning some sort of grizzly on that hopper?

Always neat prospecting in a new area, especially one that had old workings! This is a drone view from last summer showing the bench area the oldtimers worked. https://www.chickenminer.com/images/LCdroneview.jpg Couple photos of on the ground view showing the old workings. https://www.chickenminer.c...
