Yes, coming from a high bench placer deposit that is about 250' above creek level.

Cool specimens. I was just thinking about posting about wire gold so I'll add my piece here.
This is the most spectacular piece of wire gold that has come off my ground so far.
Notice it is an inch long!

And I suppose they made you give it back!
That would be something to heft.
