Glenn,
I have the DJI Phantom 3 Pro. Flight time with a fully charged battery is about 27 minutes.
Range varies greatly with terrain and drone height, but flying at DJI's altitude limit on the drone I have gone
over 3 miles w/o losing connection to the controller.

Re: Pioneer Pumps
Glenn, No it's 8" suction, 6" output. Powered with a 4 cylinder Detroit diesel. Only been using it to lift water to a pond on high bench. For the wash plant I use the trash pumps because of recycling. The GR trash pumps give plenty of pressure for a wash plant as long as the head isn't too great.

Re: Drone Mapping Software for Remote Alaska Prospecting
Kodiak,
Interesting. I honestly never looked to see what software was available for use with aerial mapping.
Yes, I mostly just fly around doing video to comb through during winter days.
I find it invaluable for aerial photos when it comes to filing new permits and reclamation.

Re: Pioneer Pumps
Slatco, I have a number of Gorman Rupp pumps, 3,4 and 6". They are a solid pump and I never had trouble getting parts. The 4" is powered by a Lister diesel and the 6" is a Duetz. I also have a 6" Wacker pump with Lombardini diesel, those engine parts are available but expensive! Like Glenn said, mos...

Re: Drone Mapping Software for Remote Alaska Prospecting
Hey Kodiak,
I love my DJI Phantom drone for mining use. From prospecting to reclamation verification.
Even though I've hoofed this country for over 40 yrs having the aerial perspective
of the drone is simply amazing.

Re: Dredge Hot Water Heater
Easy...
Have you searched on Youtube for dredge hot water heating systems?
I'm not a dredger but I've sure heard enough horror stories of guys building their own
system only to get burned, literally! So be careful with that project.

Re: A Modern Take On Old Time Drift Mining
Oh man, tough break Kurt. Fighting overflow is a frustrating battle! Amazing how that water creeps through the snow and even goes uphill !!
I'm fought many of those battles and unfortunately lost most.

Very good. You should have no problem. Just talk to the DNR mining guys. They are helpful.
Lots of history up there.
Good luck !

Easy goer ...
Where are your claims located? I understand they are State claims but are they State river bottom claims?
If you have State river bottom claims in a Federal corridor then permitting can be a little more burdensome
like Glenn says.
