$3436 today, so about $100 per gram. Even I may do alright this summer!

Re: Dredge Plug Removal Tool
I definitely need to up my graphics game so I can do a better job of explaining the design. It really is simple, and yes I will have some paracord tied to the back of hook just in case. Joe, I agree an ounce of prevention is certainly worth a pound of cure. Plug the hose a couple of times and you wi...

Dredge Plug Removal Tool
13768178-ECFD-4B24-8752-F8DE8BE3DBE7_4_5005_c.jpeg Okay, I know don't plug the dredge hose! But what if it does get plugged? My plan. Use the cork in the picture, with spider wire , feed the cork through the hose with the spider wire attached, at the end of the spider wire attach a length of paraco...

Re: IYKYK is AI just GIGO for gold mining?
Joe I appreciate the reply. I don't disagree, that's why I say garbage in, garbage out. A couple of searches referenced gold per yard from that area that were apparently found in some document that I had never seen in my searches. My problem is that the area I am prospecting in has very limited publ...

IYKYK is AI just GIGO for gold mining?
Okay enough acronyms! Has anyone else been playing around with AI in regards to your gold mining pursuits? Grok 3, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI are just a few of those available out there. The phrasing "they" use is curious sometimes but I have found a few things that seemed to be useful if acc...

Re: Gold Hog nary a Squeal!
Joe Appreciate the information. I also have a flow pan that I haven't really taken to as of yet. I find myself going back to my regular pan pretty quickly. Its on my list to give it a more thorough workout this summer. My last time in Alaska we had "no" water issues and never really got on any "good...

Gold Hog nary a Squeal!
It has been quiet on the board lately! So hopefully this will stir up some comments. Does anyone have any idea why we haven't heard anything from Gold Hog in quite some time? It seems like several years since any new videos, no advertising that I have seen. Also, all the videos on You Tube don't all...

Dick
I can help you with that! When in doubt immediately remove the grizzly bars, what could possibly go wrong? You will need to practice your shocked look for when a boulder totals your whole system. No way you could see that coming.

Re: Ho, Ho, Ho & Happy, Happy!
Joe I switched to Stihl Motomix a number of years ago for all of my small engines. Guess what, ZERO carb and fuel line issues. Yes it is expensive but I only cut so much firewood every year. The beauty of Motomix is it is good for 10 years unopened and 2 years after opening. I stupidly left fuel wit...
